Twined spring hat

Winter returned after my previous post, but I hope it won't be too long before it's possible to knit in the garden again. In the meantime I'm trying to create some spring feeling indoors instead. This wool (Visjö from Östergötlands ullspinneri) works really well with the twined knitting technique.

I'm so sorry to hear about winter returning.
It gave me hope to know that flowers were blooming in Sweden... ;-)
P.S: I love the shade of green in your hat! Very spring like!

That is absolutely gorgeous! Is the pattern to be found anywhere other than in your head?

Beautiful pattern and an exceptionally lovely choice of yarn. I have discovered that a person living in the northern part of the world can never have too many woollen hats. Always an opportunity to use up bits of wool, try new techniques, and experience nearly instant gratification.

What a fantastic combination, the beautiful changing greens coming through the cream... I hope spring comes to you soon. I'm still wearing woollen hats here in Scotland but there are buds on the trees now.

Asplund, your knitting is the most decadent! I eagerly await your next post, just to see the result of what comes off of your needles. Thank you for sharing.

Hi! I guess I missed this post. I find this particular stage of your Twined hat knitting so beautiful, so... peaceful (go figure).
