Cardigan progress

Cardigan progress by Asplund

This cardigan will be very light: so far I've used only 100 grams!

My plan is to knit two more horizontal borders and then change patterns for the shoulders, probably reusing this idea in some way.White background with small blue shapes and/or pearls, perhaps?

I think the steeks look rather nice, not so nice it's a pity to cut them, but perhaps they can be used as an idea for a future pattern.

Du förädlarverkligen alla mönster så att de blir ännu vackrare.

You have made wonderful progress. And the cardigan looks lovely. I, too, often hate to cut my steeks because the design of the different colours look so charming. I wonder if the wool you are using is equivalent to lace weight. It would be great to have a sweater that weighed a couple hundred grams.

It's looking great. It's interesting about the steek. I once got fascinated with vertical stripes one stitch wide because of a steek and went on to knit some gloves and a vest with that idea. One never knows where the knitting ideas will come from.

I can't believe it's so lightweight, and that you've gotten so much done so quickly. You speedy fingers you.

Happy holidays!

That is so beautiful. Yes, the steeks could be a nice design feature on another sweater!
