Let's see if I can explain in words how one doesn't have to drop the strands:

1. You keep the two strands in your right hand, one on each side of the middle finger. (Palm down.)
2. To knit a new stitch you put your right index finger between the two strands.
3. With your index finger you take the "back" strand and bring it in front and around the needle to be knitted.
4. While you do step 3 you pull out your middle finger, and once the "back" strand is around the needle and has become the "front" strand you put your middle finger between the strands again. (Ha ha, sorry - writing about the middle finger doesn't seem very nice...)

There must be a video. Or perhaps I'll make one some day!Asplundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03632889633679589209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1502812466187723045.post-21867420206778273992011-07-02T21:16:10.920+02:002011-07-02T21:16:10.920+02:00This sweater is looking incredible! I've been ...This sweater is looking incredible! I've been doing more reading about twined knitting lately and now I'm even more impressed! Have you figured out a way to easily twist the strands so you don't have to constantly drop one and pick the other one up? I should look to see if anyone has made a video.Yarndudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05012806302519789566noreply@blogger.com
